There are two types of sewage pumping stations:

buried type - series KNS;

buried type with surface part - series KNS-K.

Purpose - reception and transportation of household, industrial and storm sewage.

Field of application - autonomous and centralized water drain systems:
Housing and communal services objects, camps and population aggregates, military units and emergency committee divisions, buildings and structures. Social objects, hotel, sanitaria, health and sports complexes. Enterprises of gas, oil, mining, smelting, food and pharmaceutical industry, power complex enterprises, transport infrastructure enterprises.

Functionality - reception and transportation of household, industrial and storm sewage to the treatment facilities and removal of the purified drains from the treatment facilities, in case if the level of collection of sewage and purified water is below the level of gravity sewage collector.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY OF KNS SERIES SEWAGE PUMP STATIONS:They consist of buried cylindrical receiver tanks with a cover with pump equipment, air chute, maintenance ladder and trash rack.

• The tank body has branch pipes for connection of gravity collector for sewage supply and pressure pipelines of sewage supply.
• The receiver tank is made of stainless steel with external branch pipes for connection to supply and lateral pipelines.
• For operation in permafrost conditions the receiver tank is insulated from outside with waterproofing compound of modern polymeric materials.
• Above the reception tank there is a tight control panel equipped with device of automatic standby activation.
• The submerged pumps are fixed to the support branch pipe without bolted connections by means of automatic pipe coupling, so it is possible to take out and service the pump equipment, from the ground surface not going down to the receiver well.
• They are adapted for operation at air temperature from +50 up to -60°С.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY OF KNS- K SERIES SEWAGE PUMP STATIONS:They consist of two parts: buried receiver tank with a cover and surface part of the warmed block-box (container).

• The cylindrical receiver tank has pump equipment, air chutes, maintenance ladder and trash rack.
• The receiver tank is made of stainless steel with external branch pipes for connection to supply and lateral pipelines.
• For operation in permafrost conditions the receiver tank is insulated from outside with waterproofing compound of modern polymeric materials.
• The surface part is supplied in standard 20 feet container insulated from within by sandwich-panels.
• Surface part - block-box (container) is equipped with thermal stabilization system, forced-air and exhaust ventilation system, illumination and internal ground loop, heating cables for connection to external utilities.
• Block-box (container) can be additionally equipped with emergency lighting, burglar alarm system and remote control.
• They are intended for placement both on concrete platforms, and on pile foundations in permafrost conditions.
• They are adapted for operation at air temperature from +50 up to -60°С.
• They can be transported by any kind of transport.

ADVANTAGES OF SEWAGE PUMP STATIONS:Fully factory-assembled water drain stations provide reduction of objects construction and reconstruction periods.

• Service life of the stations makes not less than 50 years, because the receiver tank is made of stainless steel.
• Reliable station operation due to reservation of all process equipment.
• Low operational cost connected to use of the process equipment with long operation life and operation of the stations in automatic mode without full-time maintenance staff.

BASIC PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS OF KNS, KNS-K SEWAGE PUMP STATIONS

• The range of capacity of sewage pumping stations KNS makes from 1 up to 1000 m3/hour with standard diameter of receiver tanks up to 3 m and height up to 12 m.
• The range of capacity of sewage pumping stations KNS-K makes from 1 up to 100 m3/hour with standard diameter of receiver tanks up to 2 m and height up to 6 m.
• Diameter and height of receiver tanks depends on the Customer's requirements.
